***If the workshop is full, you will be notified and placed on a wait list.
***You are not registered in the class until you make payment and receive a confirmation email and receipt.

Today we will –
- Make Potato Chip Blocks ( like we did in the last Demo Day)
- start sewing them into quilt tops
- We have lots of “chips” thanks to the generous cutting by many members
- There is a limit of 24 spaces for sewing machines, but some people may also be pressers.
- All you need to bring is your sewing machine and usual sewing supplies
- Lunch will be provided

In this 6 hour workshop you will learn how to use silk fabrics in your quilt-making. We will –
- Identify silk fabric and distinguish them from those made with other fibers
- Discuss fusible stabilizers and how to use them
- Learn an improvisational crazy-piecing method
- Learn fabric foundation piecing. We will draft our own simple muslin foundations
